Ask your contracts, see the clause
Contracts are long and the one sentence you need is always on page 14. Upload a contract, ask in plain language and UpAsk answers with a citation to the document and page, so you can read the clause yourself before you rely on it. Select two or more contracts in a chat to compare the same term across them.

9. Term and termination
9.1 This Agreement runs for an initial term of twenty-four (24) months.
9.2 It renews automatically for successive twelve (12) month periods unless either party gives notice of non-renewal at least ninety (90) days before the end of the current term.

Does the supplier agreement renew automatically, and how much notice do we need to give?
Yes. After the initial 24-month term it renews automatically for 12-month periods. To stop the renewal you must give notice at least 90 days before the current term ends.
Supplier-agreement-2026.pdf · p. 7Questions people ask about contracts
- “What is the notice period for termination?”
- “When are invoices due, and is there interest on late payment?”
- “Is liability capped, and at what amount?”
- “Which law governs this agreement and where are disputes heard?”
- “How do the payment terms differ between the two supplier contracts?”
- “Is there a non-compete or exclusivity clause?”
How it works
- 1
Upload the contract
PDF, Word or a scanned copy. Scans are read page by page first, so a printed and signed contract works too.
- 2
Ask about one term at a time
Specific questions (notice period, payment term, liability cap) get the most precise answers and citations.

Good to know
- To compare contracts, start a chat and select only the contracts you want to compare, then ask about one term.
- If a contract doesn't cover something, UpAsk says it can't find it instead of guessing.
- UpAsk helps you find and read clauses. It is not legal advice: for decisions that matter, have the contract reviewed by a lawyer.
Questions
Can UpAsk compare two contracts?
Yes. Select the contracts in a chat and ask about a specific term, for example the notice period. The answer cites each contract and page it used. Comparing one term at a time works better than asking for every difference at once.
Does it work with scanned or signed contracts?
Yes. Scanned PDFs are read page by page before you ask. If a page is hard to read, UpAsk warns you which pages may be unreliable.
Can I ask in English about a contract in another language?
Yes. UpAsk answers in the language of your question, even if the contract is in German, Spanish, Bosnian or another language, and still cites the original page.
